Many investigations hinge on establishing where an individual actually lives. In the modern world, it is easy to maintain a mailing address. The United States Postal Service (USPS) even gets into the act, by renting post office boxes out to the general public. Many businesses use these P.O. boxes for period of many years.
Fortunately, the USPS provides a form, which can be filed with a local Postmaster, requesting a change of address or P.O. Box renter. These requests usually take 3-4 weeks, so they are useful only when a search is not urgent. But in some cases, these official requests are the only means of identifying a USPS P.O. box holder.
And, there are businesses dedicated to providing private mailboxes, for all kinds of people who just want somebody to receive their mail, without disclosing a street address. But linking a private mailbox to an address where the subject individual actually lives requires more steps. This kind of search requires expertise, and is usually only successful if conducted by an experienced private investigator.
Our searches start with confidential databases accessible to private investigators. We find a P.O. Box, or a private mailbox, and then we attempt to confirm it. We note the results, and we report them to you. We are very experienced in techniques for avoiding detection and/or identification as a private investigator trying to confirm account information.
There are legal methods of obtaining both USPS box holders, and private mailbox holders.
Our search is for the physical address, and any telephone number, on file with the box provider.
Our searches always include a written report of our findings.
